FREE Vehicle Deregistration at Typhoon Motors Auto Recovery Center (Building 5971 on Camp Foster).

MCCS Typhoon Motors will dispose of your vehicle for FREE - including deregistration fees and disposal towing! For free disposal towing, patrons must complete disposal documents with MCCS Auto Recovery prior to towing. All vehicles must be registered to the patron disposing of the vehicle. Call the Auto Recovery Center on Camp Foster for more details at 645-6181.

The following items are needed when releasing your vehicle to MCCS:

  1. 3 Letters of attorney from vehicle registration office.
  2. Recycle fee receipt from vehicle registration office (paid in Yen).
  3. Both license plates.
  4. Road tax sticker and JCI stickers MUST be peeled off your vehicle and brought to us.
  5. Japanese original title.
  6. DD Form 430 (Base Registration). There cannot be a lien on the vehicle.
  7. Original copy of Japanese Compulsory Insurance (JCI).
  8. Current road tax receipt.
  9. Valid power of attorney (if needed).
  10. ID Card or base drivers license.
  11. Keys (if possible).
