Marine Corps Community Service (MCCS), Okinawa is a multifaceted organization that incorporates various divisions providing a variety of services, programs and facilities to accommodate the local U.S Military community. The Marketing Branch of MCCS serves over 50,000 U.S. service members, their families, as well as Department of Defense civilians. MCCS Marketing provides support for several MCCS activities on island as well as serving and supporting the military community on Okinawa through sponsorship activities and our award-winning publications.

MCCS Marketing's ultimate overall objective is to improve the morale of all service members stationed on Okinawa. Our aim is to offset various costs associated with MCCS programs, events and publications through the use of Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising income. This not only saves precious Non-Appropriated Funds for MCCS activities, it gains potential advertisers direct access to the lucrative niche military market.

MCCS is the sole provider of exclusive access to the Marine military community on Okinawa. MCCS provides direct access to the military community through solicitation visits on all Marine Corps Installations on Okinawa, including MCCS clubs and restaurants, the weekly MCCS Newcomers' information fair, an 18-hole golf course, MCCS Semper-Fit gyms, Tsunami Gear Outdoor Recreation retail stores as well as arranging access to commissaries, libraries and other select locations. Through these campaign visits, sponsors are given the opportunity for product displays and disseminating corporate information, thus increasing brand awareness leading to brand loyalty among a dynamic niche military community on Okinawa.

The MCCS Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising Department is in charge of obtaining sponsors for all MCCS strategic open house events, programs and functions. Sponsorship funds are utilized to help MCCS facilities offset costs associated with their events. From personnel services programs to sporting events, sponsors can give back to the military community while profiting at the same time.

Many sponsorship opportunities are generated through MCCS Semper Fit Athletics, and Health and Wellness divisions which cater to an extremely active and fitness-minded patronage. Another division of MCCS is the Single Marine Program that organizes many activities and hosts various events such as the Oura Wan Beach Luau Festival to uplift the spirits of young single marines overseas.
