In support of the Navy's IA families, the MCCS Personal Services Center provides a variety of programs to assist & prepare for the various phases of deployment. The mobile military lifestyle presents unique challenges to spouse employment due to frequent relocations. Assistance is available to active duty military family members, as well as reservists, retirees, and civilians to achieve their goals through employment, education or volunteering. Workshops offered include the following:
The Transition Assistance Management Program (TAMP) provides career and employment assistance, vocational guidance, and transition information to separating or retiring service members and their families. Separating Marines are advised of the availability of these programs and their responsibility for attending prior to leaving the military and must contact their Unit Transition Counselor (UTC) in order to be enrolled in the mandatory TAP Workshop.

Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw data logs are used for no other purposes and are scheduled for regular destruction in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration General Schedule 20.

Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 (reference (bd)) and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act (reference (ay)).
