We want to help you either find exactly what you are looking for with little or no effort, or assist you in finding something you may not have even realized you were looking for.

Homepage
More than likely our homepage is the first page you hit when you came to our site, but maybe not. Regardless, here's some useful information you should know about it.

We utilize the space on our homepage to give you an overview of the big or important events happening around MCCS, usually within the timeframe of the current day up to two weeks or more. We do our best to link you to additional information when it's necessary but should you happen to miss seeing any, try clicking on one of the images. The majority of them are automatically set-up to link you to more information.

Our homepage not only displays upcoming events but also features a regularly scheduled poll, a photo gallery, a list of events from the current day's calendar, and a list of announcements we post throughout the site to keep you on top of what's going on.

Announcements
Our announcements are a way of making you aware of something up-and-coming and are automatically set to expire once they pass to make sure the site constantly remains up-to-date. Some of our announcements are important enough for homepage coverage, but not always. Announcements can include useful info such as class or event cancellations (including last minute), sales and promotions, or just draw your attention to something MCCS is sponsoring. Make sure to checkout the homepage for a quick list of ALL the current announcements.

Calendar
The calendar's homepage defaults to the current day's events. The left-side will always display the events whether it's for a particular day or for results from a search done on the page's right side. Searches are available by keyword, facility and/or camp. The search will only return a list of scheduled events in the calendar.

What happens if you know something is scheduled but you cannot find it in the calendar? The best answer we can give you is to check the website to see if there is an announcement posted, which you can do one of two ways: either by going to the homepage (see announcements) or by going directly to the page on our website. If you are not sure where the page is located on our website, use our Sitemaps!

We've also made it easy to add our appointments to your Outlook calendar! Just click the bell next to each event and a dialogue box will pop up. Select the "Open" button and an appointment will open displaying the event's information.

Did you know you can print out or view a printer-friendly PDF monthly calendar for each facility listed in the Calendar Search's drop down menu (right-side of calendar pages)? Just open any event belonging to that facility, such as an On-Island Tour and find the link in the menu with the event's description.

Search Engine
We apologize, but our search engine goes down from time to time and it's not always easy to get it back up and running. If it's available, we encourage you to utilize it first to locate something.

Sitemaps
Aside from the Search Engine, one of the fastest ways to find something on our site might be to check the Sitemaps. We have two sitemaps for your convenience. The first one breaks the site down by the tabs we use. The second one breaks the site down by the USMC camp it is associated with. The camp sitemap also indicates which MCCS facilities are equipped with wifi services.

Phone Directory
Looking for a phone number? Try using our phone directory! It is possible to search by a facility within MCCS, i.e., the Personal Services Center, Gunner's Gym, etc., or by a person (last name or first name).

This really isn't going to help you locate anything, but for your convenience, all of our pages are equipped with a printer-friendly link so you can isolate a page's content without having to print anything extra. Just look for the link at the bottom of every page!
