MCCS would like to inform all about the need to close the Camp Courtney 25-meter pool for the 2017 season due to a severe water leak. MCCS and the Government Facilities (GF) Maintenance have been working on finding and repairing this leak. However, repairs will not be completed for the 2017 pool season. We will continue to work tirelessly on resolving this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and welcome you to visit one of our other Aquatic Centers.
Please be reminded that the 25-meter pool on Camp McTureous will be fully operational for the 2017 season starting on the Memorial Day weekend. We thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through this dilemma.
Please visit MCCSOkinawa.com/aquaticcenters for more information about our other facilities.

The opening of the Foster 50m pool is delayed by a few days due to additional pool boiler tests.
Lap swim, swim lessons, adult swim team practice, and TriCamp will be held at the Foster 25m pool through Wednesday, 24 May. These will all move to the Foster 50m pool as of 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, 25 May.
Permanent Closure of the Camp Foster 25-Meter Pool
As part of the MCIPAC master plan to redesign areas of Camp Foster, the 25-Meter Pool managed by MCCS will close permanently on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. (and be demolished at a later date). The refurbished Camp Foster 50-Meter Pool will reopen on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 5 a.m. as a year-round, heated pool to support recreational programs, Okinawa Dolphins Swim Team activities, and USMC training.
We thank you for your past patronage at the Foster 25-Meter Pool and welcome you to enjoy the Foster 50-Meter Pool throughout the year. For more information, please contact the MCCS Semper Fit Aquatics Office on Camp Foster at (DSN) 645-3180 (from cell phone/off-base: 098-970-3180) or email email@example.com.
The Camp Foster 25m Pool will be experiencing a power outage on Tuesday, May 23, from 8:30AM to 3:30PM. The pool will close thirty minutes prior to the scheduled power outage and re-open once the power is restored and proper chemical residuals have been reached.
