Succulent sandwiches stacked with sauces, sizzle and even some savory coleslaw on the side are what’s cooking with MCCS’s newest food truck, Chef Shack.
Chef Shack features your MCCS festival favorites from Latin 305 Bistro such as the 305 Steak Sandwich with grilled chimichurri steak topped with sautéed onions served on a toasted buttered roll. Or there’s the Cubano with slow-roasted pork topped with shaved ham, Swiss cheese, sliced pickles and onions, all served on a toasted and buttered roll with yellow mustard. Looking for something different? Try the Bacon Wrapped Chicken—chicken breast stuffed with ham and cheese, wrapped in bacon and served with our house cheese sauce.
Make it a combo by adding chips and bottled water or canned soda. And don’t forget our chef’s secret-recipe ‘Slaw as a side or special Homemade Caramel Flan for dessert—or how about both?
For more information about Chef Shack—including its availability to support command, unit or other special events on Marine Corps installations island-wide—please email us at mccsfoodtrucks@okinawa.usmc-mccs.org
