What is Comic Con Okinawa? It is our mission of making Okinawa home and this event is packed with the pop experience, fun and excitement that our unique community may have experienced at the larger conventions held in America. First held in 2011, this annual event is MCCS Okinawa's epic celebration of all things related to comics, anime, gaming, sci-fi, cosplay and so much more! Anticipated by many, Comic Con Okinawa is gaining recognition as Okinawa's premier comic book convention.
Register? Comic Con Okinawa is a FREE event with no admission fees or registration required to attend the event. For anyone participating in any contests and/or tournaments, registrations will take place at the event site. Times and locations will be listed in the program guide.
When? Sunday, October 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where? Camp Foster Fieldhouse, Community Center Auditorium, and Ocean Breeze (visit events page for details).
Who can attend? Comic Con Okinawa is an open-gate event that welcomes to all SOFA, U.S. and Japan citizens. This is one of those events that has something for everyone - kids and adults!Non-SOFA personnel (Japanese citizens and Non-SOFA
US citizens) can access Comic Con Okinawa via the Camp Foster Flea Market gate
which is located off of Hwy. 58, across from the Chatan Branch McDonald’s. The
gate will open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.キャンプフォスターフリーマーケットゲートから会場へアクセスできます。フリーマーケットゲートは、国道５８号線沿いマクドナルド北谷店の道路の向かい側です。ゲートは午前９時半～午後７時まで開いています。
