Pre-Ballet: This is an introduction class for 2-3 year olds. Pre-Ballet promotes education, motor skills, coordination, balance, social interaction, and the introduction to dance movement. Students will learn very basic ballet movements in this class.
Ballet: This is a classical form of dance using grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement. Students will learn movements at the barre as well as center.
Jazz: These classes are very popular with all ages and give dancers the ability to discover the joy of dance through the rhythmic movements. Jazz provides an added benefit of cardiovascular exercise due to the high level of energy exerted.
Lyrical: These classes are conducted in such a way that a story is conveyed to the audience through physical dance movements. The students have the ability to express themselves openly and without reservation. Our lyrical classes combine dance movements such as ballet, jazz, and modern dance. These learned techniques, when applied, show an intense outpouring of emotion.
