The DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for transitioning Service Members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. The program helps Service Members bridge the gap between end of service and the beginning of their civilian careers. The program offers an excellent benefit for Installation and Unit Commanders who have members nearing military separation. Commanders can greatly ease this transition to civilian life by supporting their Service Members' interest in the SkillBridge Program. DoD SkillBridge Program is supported by the DoDI 1322.29 and MARADMIN 350/18.
To learn more about the DoD SkillBridge Program please visit the DoD SkillBridge website and for any questions regarding the program email firstname.lastname@example.org.
