Introducing the first Kitchen Warriors Cooking Competition—16 teams of two will cook head-to-head, where only one team will be crowned the champion!
During this three-round competition held on May 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Butler Officers’ Club (BOC), competitors will receive mystery boxes containing multiple ingredients and have 60 minutes to cook a dish based on the round’s theme. After each round, three guest judges will evaluate dishes based on a combination of serving and cooking criteria. Eliminations will take place after each round.
Competitor registration is open to 16 teams of two on a first come, first-served basis. Team registration opens March 28 and closes April 29.
Spectators need not be afraid of going home hungry—registration includes a continental breakfast, lunch stations, snacks and beverages until 3:30 p.m. The first 100 registrants will receive a bottle of hot sauce courtesy of Sauce Live AND all spectators will be eligible to win one of 5 $100 gift cards to Taiyo Steakhouse. Spectators may register via Eventbrite, beginning April 11. If space allows, day-of registration also through Eventbrite—will be made available as well.
