March is National Nutrition Month. In order to promote nutritious meals at home, MCCS Health Promotion is hosting a healthy recipe contest! We want to see your best original, healthy, and delicious recipes. Submissions will be judged by our own Corporate Chef. Three winners will be chosen to have their recipe featured on our website, Facebook page, and to receive a fantastic prize!

Submission Guidelines
- Applicants must have SOFA status.
-Recipe submissions must follow the key recommendations from the current Dietary Guidelines

1. Vegetables and fruits (especially whole fruits)
2. Whole grains (e.g. whole grain bread, brown rice)
3. Healthy Fats (e.g. avocados, nuts, canola oil)
4. Lean Protein (lean cuts of meat, eggs, legumes)
5. Limit sugar, salt, and solid fat (<10% of calories per day from saturated fat and sugar, <2,300mg of sodium per day)
