The Premarital Seminar is held on the second Friday of each month from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Camp Foster Ocean Breeze, Northern Breeze room. Registration is not required but highly encouraged.
The topics covered in this seminar are: the requirements of local marriage orders, the procedure to marry in Japan and in neighboring countries, family programs and resources, IPAC benefits, TRICARE services, legal information and services, immigration procedures, financial partnerships, and basic communication strategies. Legal will provide notary services on-site.
Attendees are encouraged to stay for CREDO Premarital Prep from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.. This FREE three-hour workshop is designed for partners to focus on their relationship prior to marriage. CREDO Premarital Prep is separate from the Premarital Seminar and participants are not required to attend both, though the Premarital Seminar is often required by some commands.
CREDO Premarital Prep offers a free buffet lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., then goes right into the Prep materials. The following will be covered during the workshop:
