1.  MyCAA Expansion:
The FY20 National Defense Authorization Act expands the program to help pay tuition up to $4,000 for a license, certification or associate degree to pursue any occupation or career. As long as the military spouse, school and a Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO) career coach work together to define a clear career path the funds can be applied. Previously, MyCAA could only be used toward 13 defined fields and 170 careers.

2.  Off Base Child Care Brochure is Attached. 
Child Care Fee Assistance was created to provide authorized USMC personnel assistance in locating, selecting, and offsetting the cost of civilian child care when on-base child care is not available.  The USMC Child Care Assistance brochure explains the process to determine eligibility.

3. TRICARE For Life (TFL)
TFL is Medicare-wraparound coverage for TRICARE beneficiaries who have Medicare Part A and Part B. This is regardless of your age or where you live.  It provides comprehensive health care coverage. With TFL, you also get prescription coverage under the TRICARE Pharmacy Program.

4. Article and Status of Forces Survey
Please disseminate as widely as you are able:  Since 2017, DoD has included a Financial Literacy and Preparedness Survey as part of the annual Status of Forces Survey, as mandated by Congress.  The new Status of Forces Survey is open now.  If you have been invited to  participate, you should have received a letter and weekly email reminders (since early December 2019) with information on completing the survey.  The link is in this article:  https://www.usmc-mccs.org/articles/financial-readiness-is-mission-critical1/
