card holders and authorized personnel, this admission FREE event will be rocking at the
Community Center Parking Lot and surrounding streets like a classic
all-American block party. Bring your
flags; wear red, white and blue; and come together to celebrate America as we
bring a full lineup of events leading up to the big fireworks finale!
Throughout the day,
enjoy the awesome live entertainment, plenty of food and drink options and fun
for all ages with the Fun Land amusement rides. All access passes to Fun Land
rides will be available for purchase (restrictions may apply). Local vendors will be on site to offer food
and games and hungry festival-goers can chow down on MCCS festival favorites,
like sizzling burgers from Bulldogs Burgers, succulent BBQ beef brisket and
pork shoulder from Hickory House All-American BBQ, cheesy pizza and
Miami-inspired grub from 305 Latin Bistro.
Entertainment will include family-friendly performances like a street
performer, hip hop dance groups, culture performances and variety bands. Fireworks will light up the sky at 8:30 p.m.
on Saturday (in case of inclement weather, fireworks will be rescheduled for
8:30 p.m. on Sunday).
Remember, we must all play our part in ensuring the event falls within III MEF / MCIPAC-MCBB COVID-19 mitigation guidance. To do so, social distancing, mask use and limited group sizes (maximum of six individuals per group) will be enforced as applicable.
However, in accordance with the June 30 MCIPAC-MCBB COVID-19 In-Stride Guidance update, fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear a mask while indoors or outdoors aboard MCIPAC-MCBB installations except while interacting or occupying shared workspaces with host-nation citizens.
